Police report copies are $4.00 for a standard report. 
Extra costs can accrue if additional materials and research are needed. 
All additional fees will be presented before processing.

Police reports can be obtained in person at 2020 Howell Street, North Kansas City, MO 64116
Fill out the Report Request Form and bring with you to the Police Department Records Window.

TO OBTAIN BY MAIL:
Complete the Report Request Form payment via check or money order per report.
Mail requests to: North Kansas City Police Department, Attn: Records Unit, 2020 Howell Street,
North Kansas City, MO 64116.
Make payable to The City of North Kansas City.

TO OBTAIN ONLINE:
Accident reports only. Other report types must be obtained by mail or in person. 

• You may NOT be personally contacted by an investigator unless further information is needed. If you have additional information or have recovered your property (to include automobiles), please contact the North Kansas City Police Department at 816-274-6013.

• If your vehicle was towed, you will need to contact the North Kansas City Police Department at 816-274-6013 for instructions on obtaining a release for your vehicle.

• If property was recovered by the police regarding this incident and you can prove ownership, contact the Property Clerk at 816-412-7933 between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
