The NKC Citizens Academy is a 9-week program open to residents.  The Academy is an exciting opportunity to learn more about your City.

Participants will:

• Meet City Councilmembers, department heads and City staff.
• Learn how decisions are made, how funds are allocated, and how department operate.
• Enjoy comprehensive overviews of departments, programs and services.
• Learn more about the City's future plans.
• Tour City facilities.
• Learn how to get involved as a board or commission member
