Clay County Emergency Order Update

Last night, Clay County Public Health Center - Missouri (CCPHC) updated their Emergency Order.  North Kansas City will be amending our Emergency Order to reflect the changes outlined in the new CCPHC Order along with the local North Kansas City requirement of prohibiting any gathering of more than fifty (50) people on City-owned property except for City-sponsored events on such public property where the City maintains control of the planning, organizing, supervising and carrying-out of the event.

Restaurants, bars, and taverns may resume operating according to their permitted hours. Also, there is no more upper limit on gathering size, provided all attendees follow masking and social distancing guidelines. Events are no longer required to submit a mitigation plan.

Face masks must continue to be worn at all indoor spaces with more than one person per room or barrier-divided space. They should also be worn outdoors when physical distancing (six feet) cannot be maintained.
