Update to the H1N1 Vaccine Schedule - Clay County Health Department

Director of Public Health, Gary E. Zaborac, announced today that the Clay County Public Health Center is now expanding the H1N1 vaccination effort and will immediately begin offering the vaccine to anyone who wants it.
Description:
The vaccine will no longer be limited to the CDC identified risk categories. “Our efforts over the last 6 weeks have proven to reach the high-risk and priority individuals who wanted the vaccine. We can now begin to vaccinate those who want the vaccine but have been patiently waiting until the priority groups have been vaccinated first”, said Zaborac.
The health center will hold a clinic today, December 8, at the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, I-35 and 291 Highway, from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. and on the following dates:
A clinic has also been added in North Kansas City at the Community Center (corner of Iron and Amour) on Thursday, December 10, from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m., as well.
These clinics are only for Clay County residents. There is no cost for the vaccination.
