Due to the potential for damage to the equipment, leaves will not be picked up if it has rained or it is raining.  The crew will begin working on the east side (River Forest) of the City and work their way west.  Two crews are anticipated for the following week, or earlier, if needed.  If the second crew is not needed, they will continue cleaning leaves and debris from catch basins.  It is impossible to schedule the program due to all the variables, including weather.  The Public Works office will work diligently to keep track of the location of the crews daily.  For more information, please call the Public Works office at 274-6004.

Please remember to rake leaves into the area between the curb and the sidewalk, not in the street.  Raking leaves into the streets obstructs the flow of storm water.
