Friday Greetings,

At 11:59 p.m. on May 3, the recovery process for our community will slowly begin. The Clay County COVID-19 Response Plan outlines the county's process from the beginning of the outbreak to post-vaccine. Starting May 4, we will move into the Recovery Phase: Step One. To view the Clay County Public Health Center Recovery Plan, visit www.clayhealth.com/recovery.

Due to the recommendations outlined in the Clay County Public Health Center Recovery Plan – Recovery Phase: Step One, please note the following updates to City services and programs:

City Hall

City Hall’s lobby will remain closed to the public.  City Hall staff will continue to serve the public via phone and email.  If you need a city service, please call the main City Hall number at 816-274-6000.

City Council and Planning Commission meetings will continue to be held virtually during this phase.

o The Tuesday, May 5, 2020, City Council Work Session and Regular Meeting will be held virtually, with City Council members and City staff joining the meeting on an online platform.  The public will not be able to participate in the meeting as it is being held, but the public may view the meeting live on the City’s Cable Channel or YouTube channel, which can be found on the City’s website at www.nkc.org/live.
