Re-Entry Phases for Facilities and Amenities

Dates for Facilities, Amenities and Services are subject to change based on new facts or changes of circumstances regarding the COVID-19 virus.

Facilities and Amenities


Phase 1

-  Shelters, pickleball, tennis, handball courts, Waggin’ Trail Park and the Parks and Recreation Center
    will remain closed through May 31,2020.
-  Playgrounds and Dagg Park Sprayground will remain closed until further notice.

Phase 2 


-  Parks and Recreation staff will return to the office June 1, 2020 (this date subject to change depending
    on circumstances), working alternative shifts while continuing to practice social distancing, wearing
    face masks, and sanitizing workspaces, common areas and their hands multiple times throughout the day. 
-  Maintenance staff will return to regular schedule shifts effective June 1, 2020. 
-  Shelters rental and facility rentals will be available June 1, 2020 with limited number based on 25% of
    facility capacity.  Six ft social distancing practice will be required by rental party.  For more information

-  Park Restrooms will open June 1, 2020 with scheduled cleaning.
-  Pickleball/tennis, handball courts and Waggin’ Trail Park will reopen on June 1, 2020. When these
    amenities open social distancing of 6ft will be required by patrons until the requirement is lifted. 
-  Field usage for rental group will be available on June 1, 2020. Social distancing of 6 ft will be required by
    user groups until the requirement is lifted.

Phase 3


-  Shelters and Parks and Recreation Center will be available for full capacity rentals beginning on 
   August 3, 2020 (this date subject to change depending on circumstances).
-  Dagg Park spray ground and playgrounds will be one of the last amenities to open.  Opening dates will
    be established as additional guidance is provided by national, state and local agencies.

Services

Phase 1

-  Classes will resume on June 1, 2020 as long as the number of participants is controlled where a 6ft social
    distance practice can be established with patrons and instructor until this requirement is lifted. 

Phase 2


-  Sports programs will resume June 26, 2020. Social distancing of 6 ft will be required by patrons until the
    requirement is lifted. 
-  Special Events will resume June 26, 2020. Social distancing of 6ft will be required by patrons until the
    requirement is lifted.

Phase 3


-  Senior Adult Services will be one of the last services to reestablish as additional guidance is provided by
    national, state and local agencies that this population is no longer an at-risk group.
