Bitty SportsBITTY SPORTS
Ages 3-5

Our preschool programs include Bitty Sports - a great introduction to some basic recreational team sports and designed to promote socialization and basic motor skills

Youth SoccerSOCCER
Coed | Grades K - 8
This is a non-competitive, recreational league. Our soccer programs emphasizes skill development, learning the rules of the game, playing as a team, sportsmanship, and most importantly having FUN! Each division is separated by grade level. Children can register with a "buddy". Registration forms must be turned in together. New players will be placed on a team by NKC Parks and Recreation Staff. Fees include t-shirt and a trophy.

Baseball

BASEBALL
Coed | Ages 4 - 12

This recreational league is created to introduce the game to new players and increase skills (both athletic and social). Children can register with a "buddy". Registration forms must be turned in together. New players will be placed on a team by NKC Parks and Recreation Staff. Games and practices are during the week and weekend. Fee includes jersey, hat & trophy. Volunteer coaches and Team sponsors are always needed.

T-Ball (COED) | Ages 4-6
Emphasis is placed on understanding the basics of the game, having fun, and making new friends. Our goal is for each child to learn the correct skills for batting, throwing, catching to progress in their passion for baseball/ softball.

Spring 2019

Coach Pitch (COED)
 | Ages 7-9
Players will learn to hit the ball as it is being pitched from a coach and begin to cooperate as a team to earn runs and outs. The primary goal is to develop your all-star for the next level of play!

Kid Pitch Baseball (COED) | Ages 10-12
Players are introduced to other players pitching, and are incorporating all their skills from batting, throwing, and fielding. Your all-star will completely understand the essence of baseball/ softball after completing the season.

PITCH, HIT & RUN | Saturday, April 27, 2:00pm
Ages 7-14 | Macken Park Diamond #1

Major League Baseball Pitch Hit & Run is a FREE event that tests three of the most fundamental aspects of baseball/softball...
1) Pitch | Participants are tested by throwing to a designated Strike Zone target.
2) Hit | Participants hits a ball off a stationary tee for distance and accuracy.
3) Run: Participants are timed, starting from second base, touching then touching home plate.

All the events are individually scored and converted to a total point score through the use of conversion tables. Winners will move on to Regionals. Continued success can lead to a chance to compete in nationals
