The City of North Kansas City seeks proposals from qualified firms to provide engineering
services for an off-street shared use path connecting Diamond Parkway to 14th Avenue, passing
underneath I-35/29.
In 2020, the City adopted a Bicycle Master Plan focusing on strategies to build a safe and
multimodal transportation network, reflecting community priorities for increasing connectivity,
accommodating all ages and abilities, connecting to regional destinations, enhancing character
and activity on public streets, and improving safety for all roadway users. This project is an
implementation project of the Bicycle Master Plan, providing a safe and comfortable connection
identified in the plan’s recommended network.
Interested firms or teams should submit one electronic copy of their submittal in pdf format on
CD or flash drive and one printed copy of the submittal. The submittal must be clearly marked
“RFQ – Shared Use Path” and received no later than 4:00pm on Thursday, February 11,
2021. Submittals should be delivered to:
