In response to the ongoing global Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis, Mayor Stielow has issued the eighth amended order which will remain in effect until 11:59 p.m. on Saturday, January 16, 2021, unless and until the order is extended, rescinded, superseded, or amended in writing. The North Kansas City amended order is in addition to, and supersedes, the Clay County Public Health Emergency Order Amended on 7/14/2020.
The eighth amended order and the previous order are identical aside from the expiration dates. Highlights of the eighth amended order include:
1.
Extends the requirement that all employees or visitors to any indoor public accommodation must wear face coverings or masks that cover the nose and mouth until 11:59 p.m. on Saturday, January 16, 2021.
2.
Prohibits the gathering of more than 50 people on City-owned property except for City-sponsored events where the City maintains control of the planning, organizing, supervising, and carrying-out of the event.
