•
Parks & Recreation will be hosting the Wonka-Ween at Macken Park event on Saturday, October 26 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
•
Municipal Services crews will begin the Leaf Pickup Program next week. The City’s Leaf Pickup Program runs mid-October through mid-December. City crews use a vacuum truck to pick up leaves along the side of residential streets. Just a reminder to residents that raking leaves into the street is prohibited by law because they obstruct the flow of stormwater and clog catch basins, which can increase the severity of flash flooding.
